If I could give my comfort a rating at the moment it would be a 2.... Gracie loves to put her feet in my rib cage and just stay there. It is literally work just to lay here and breathe right now. Grace, I love you but pleaseeeee get off my rib cage, drop down, and proceed to the exit! I am so ready not to be pregnant anymore!

Ok, I'm done complaining. Here is a picture of Gracie's room 90% done. The most recent development is the purchase of the drapes. They are white with pink shabby chic roses. They match the room perfectly. I do still need to purchase the chandeliers which I believe we will be going with one from Pottery Barn.

As for work I've cut down my hours from 48 to 40 and will so be going on maturity leave. I am given 12 weeks and will be using every minute of it!

Last but not least here is a recent picture of me at week 34!

Its been too long since I wrote last. Miss Grace's room is really coming along. We have all the furniture in and even painted the room. Well, unfortunatly I painted it TOO pink so now we have to repaint it. Opps, lesson learned! Now the next project is to paint it a lighter and warmer pink. Its called "pink champagne". Hopefully it looks as good as it sounds.

Other than her room not a lot has changed. Cameron is still in outage meaning that he isn't home a lot. It feels like every night now I have to roll out of bed and reach for my best friend now which are Tums. Gracie just making my stomach acid not happy.

Also, I'm working at a new branch location at my job. Instead of working at the one on Cypress Lake Dr. I'm working on Daniels near the airport. Its a big transition from a branch that rents out 50 cars a day to one that might rent 10. It's good because I'm not running around in the hot sun and washing premium cars for Jaguar customers anymore but its much more boring. Give and take.

Today I had a new experience. I had my first massage by a "Doula". By wikipedia definition that means "doula is an assistant who provides various forms of non-medical and non-midwifery support (physical and emotional) in the childbirth process." I really enjoyed the hour massage and think that her services might be beneficial to me. Not only will she give me massage before and after the pregnancy she can assist in the labor. She can be there when nurses are not around, coach me, and most of all massage me and keep me from most likely dismembering Cameron!

Am I doing this because I'm scared of labor? Yes and no. Of course I'm scared. This will be something completely new for me. So she can help coach and calm me down. She can calm Cameron too because I'm sure he'll be more freaked out than me!! But also, she really believes in her work and sees so much beauty in childbirth that I think she'd bring a special element into the birth of our little Gracie. We'll see. I haven't made a decision to use her yet.

Well, I am tired. I will written again soon hopefully. Can't wait for Birth class this Saturday!!

Its my 27th week of pregnancy and its becoming more and more uncomfortable by the day. I love you Gracie but you do move a lot and love to kick Mommy's ribs especially after I eat hot Italian sausage that I like so much. I am being to feel constant pressure on my back now whether I sit, stand, or walk.

Now that I got my complaining out of the way. Life has been good since the last post. Just been working and still trying to get Gracie's room together. I will post pictures when its done. I trying to choose some art for her room I think I will be going with these choices wall blocks, Cinderella painting, and Castle painting. I absolutely love the Dimples and Dandelions website. I want to purchase everything on the site for Grace. Its definitely has her style!

Mother's Day

Well my first "Mother-to-be" Mother's Day was great! My mother and I went to St Armands in Sarasota for the weekend. We did a little shopping and just spent time together. It is so beautiful there! If you haven't been there it's a great place for a weekend get away. We also so went and saw the Ringling Art museum and ate at the amazing Columbia Restaurant. Overall, I really enjoyed myself and so happy to spend the weekend with my mom and my little girl.

Today I registered online for the baby shower. I bought the consumer guide to baby products and have been going by their suggestions. They actually go through each product and rate them so I feel safe going with their suggestions. I am now registered at Babies-R-Us and Pottery Barn Kids.

This week is going to be busy. I have a big test for my job tomorrow and I am very nervous about it. I can keep me from being promoted if I fail it. Also, I am really trying to work on Gracie's room. I'm drawing off this picture at the moment.

Anyways, the timer for my lasagna is going off.. til next time!

This week has been a little crazy. My birthday didn't go as smoothly as planned. Ralph, Denisa, Gran, and Uncle Tommy came to celebrate with me at my parents house. The grill out was nice until we found out a close friend of ours, Randy Trowbridge, had passed away.

I feel so empty with having seen so many deaths recently. I am still processing my own grandmothers death and this very hard as well. With this said I have to focus on the good and meaningful parts of life and the thought of Gracie keeps me together. She is everything to me and I can't wait to hold her.

The other night she was rolling around in my tummy while Cameron and I were in bed. He finally was able to feel her move! I'm glad he experience that now.

Oh, exciting news! We ordered the baby furturine. It's a beautiful white three piece Stanley set the we were able to purchase at cost!

Well, I'm off to finish cleaning the house and then go to my parents house to lay out.

New Beginning

Well this blog is well over due. I've been wanting to start this for awhile to write down all the wonderful and new experinces that have been happening in my life.

First and formost, married life to Cameron has been amazing. We rarely see each other since we work 12 hours on complete opposite sides of the day. But, with that said we cherish the times we get to spend with each other.

Also, we're steadly preparing for Grace. Our beautiful baby girl to come into our lives. Pregnancy has been so easy so far until recently but maybe I have to make up for all the times I didn't get morning sickness. Who knows? It's all worth it though.

I would love to write more but I'm off to my parents place to celebrate my 22nd Birthday!
